A Helpful Website is a collection of free, fast, and private online tools that run entirely in your browser. Our mission is simple: provide useful web tools that respect your privacy, work on any device, and never cost a cent.
Our image tools use the HTML5 Canvas API to process photos locally on your computer, while our text, developer, and security tools run entirely in JavaScript. Your data is never uploaded to any server, stored in any database, or seen by any third party. When you close the page, no trace of your work remains.
Why We Built This
Most free online tool sites require you to upload your files or data to their servers, which raises legitimate privacy concerns. Others bombard you with ads, limit how many times you can use them, or require sign-ups. We believe useful online tools should be private, unlimited, and available to everyone.
By building all tools as client-side JavaScript applications, we eliminated the need for servers entirely. The result is a site that is fast, secure, and free to operate - which means it will stay free for you forever.
